About
Music Ministry at ABVM is a community of individuals who seek to glorify God through the gift of music. Our primary purpose is to assist God's faithful in their prayer through the sacred liturgy. Each person called to serve the parish through the ministry of music is committed to using their gift of music to enhance the worship life of the parish to the best of the their ability. Individuals seeking to fulfil their call to Music Ministry here at ABVM should contact the Director of Liturgy and Music to find out more about how they can become a Music Minister.
Ensembles
Parish Choir
ABVM Parish Choir is open individuals age 10 and up. Our Parish Choir sings for selected Masses and Holy Days throughout the Liturgical Year and generally rehearses just prior to the liturgy they will be singing for. More information is available upon request from the Director of Liturgy and Music.
Handbells
ABVM Handbell Choir is open individuals age 10 and up. Our Handbell Choir rings for selected Masses and Holy Days throughout the Liturgical Year and generally rehearses each week on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. from September through June. More information is available upon request from the Director of Liturgy and Music.
Anthem
ABVM contemporary band, "Anthem," is open individuals age 14 and up. Anthem leads the music each week at our 10:00 am Mass and and other selected Holy Days throughout the Liturgical Year and generally rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. all year around.
